Sam CannonsFor most of his life, Sam has immersed himself in the physical culture of competitive sports and the conditioning of the human body. Combining his own diverse experience with the knowledge of leading fitness experts, Sam has developed an innovative approach to fitness and a no-frills formula for strength training. His aim is simple: helping others to achieve their fitness goals. Sam developed his thirst for sports at a young age. He excelled at inline hockey speed skating and made state team for three consecutive years. In his late teens, Sam experimented with a variety of martial arts disciplines before choosing to study a unique style of kung fu, which was concept and scenario-based. A great martial arts teacher recognized his potential and pulled him aside. Under this teacher’s guidance and within this learning environment, Sam discovered his passion for human movement. Having honed his kung fu skills, Sam opened his own martial arts school. During this time, he enlisted in the Army Reserves and served as an Infantry for two years. After several years of teaching martial arts, Sam was ready for new physical challenges. And so began his journey into discovering the most effective training methods available. Sam now trains in several sports, including submission fighting and gymnastics. He devotes much of his time to coaching clients from a variety of backgrounds, from cage fighters and special force operatives to dancers and office workers. |
